Abstract:

In the fictional works of Shirzad Hassan, one of the famous contemporary Writers of Iraqi Kurdistan, social themes, especially the position of the family institution and the relations between its members, are very prominent. This study seeks to investigate the position of women in Shirzad Hassan's three index novels, and the author has studied descriptive-analytical methods and library tools to examine family and emotional relationships, especially the image of women and common perceptions and beliefs about it in society. In the naturalist novel My Father's Fence and Dogs, he describes the suffering and depiction of the black world of families living under the domination of a patriarchal system, each of whom is struggling in some way with mental health issues. In the realist novel, a woman above the minaret pays attention to the issue of desecration of girls from a psychological and sociological perspective, and the author tries to take a psychological view of this issue and its effects and feedback on the psyche of young girls who are desecrated. In the romantic novel NaturDarreh, he deals with the Platonic love of schoolgirls and boys and examines the influence of the patriarchal and authoritarian system on the formation of personality and the emergence of mental illnesses. The results of this study indicate that Shirzad Hassan considers cultural poverty to be much more dangerous than economic issues and he believes that by highlighting society's misconceptions about emotional relationships between family members, in order to change the views of their people. He take a few steps towards this key issue.

Abstract:

This research was done to investigate to what extent the translations by a translator are faithful to the original work. For this purpose, the translations by Ghassem Roubin of Marguerite Duras’ works were selected. The research was conducted in terms of Antoine Berman’s method of ‘pour une critique de la traduction: John Donne’ as well as the first seven orientations presented in ‘la traduction et la lettre ou l’auberge au lointain’. The study shows that faithfulness to an author does not necessarily lead to a better translation. So, it depends, more than anything else, on the translator, because the translations, certainly the literary ones require very extensive studies especially in the domain of the author’s stylistic particularities and the translators who do not study as profoundly as required cannot be successful translators of literary works.

Abstract:

The present paper aims to analyze the method of Sibooye in Syntactic analysis with reference to grammar writing and applied syntax. The outcome of this study shows that the method of Sibooye is structure writing mixed with analysis. He didn’t suffice to quoting what he heard but moves forward and does Functionalism analysis. The nearest reasons showing Sibooye’s attempt on this method is that most of the expressions he uses in the titles of sections are descriptive which show both the E’rab (اعراب) form and Ta’lil (تعلیل) together in the same place. This study which has been done with descriptive-analytical method also shows that Sibooye didn’t ignore the applied aspect of Arabic but paid strong attention to semantic and applied uses and applications and with careful analyses, indicates the semantic differences of the uses and words of different tribes and also explains the place of uttering the speech Hence, what known today as Functionalism has already been presented for Sibooye.

Abstract:

A very precious collection containing 209 works, written both in verse and prose, both long and short, compiled and written in 720 to 723 (lunar year) by Abo-l-Majd Mohammad-Ibne-Mas'ood-e-Tabrizi, one of the scholars of Tabriz, has been recently possessed by Islamic Parliament and fortunately a facsimile edition of that was published after a short time, and could, in this way, delight the scholars and researchers. Some of the works in this collection were not acknowledged at all in recent years, and some others were known, but sometimes this edition seems to be more reliable and more accurate; There are also some works in this collection which are not attributed to those who have been considered the author of those works until now. In this essay, the Writer describes this collection first, and then discusses about "Gol-o-Mol Dialogue" (one of the eleven dialogues of this collection) which is attributed to "Seraj-e-Ghomri", the gifted poet of seventh century, and inspects whether the attribution of this collection to "Ghomri" is correct or not.

Abstract:

The Kurds, like other Iranian tribes, have a rich, gorgeous, and ancient oral literature. Lullabies have a significant share in Kurdish oral literature as part of folk songs. These lullabies, like a mirror, reflect corners of culture, history, and social realities. By researching this part of popular culture, many sociological materials such as religious, educational, moral, political, cultural, customs and traditions are obtained, which are in the knowledge of culture and people and familiarity with spirits and attachments. The ethnicity of the Kurds will play an important role. This research aims to examine the image of the Kurdish community and the culture of the Kurdish-speaking people through the Kurdish lullabies collected in the book "Jeanne Jean". Findings suggest that echoes of women's voices, religious beliefs, superstitions, political issues, living conditions and relationships, games, stories and anecdotes and climatic characteristics can be found. He listened to these lullabies and through them became acquainted with one of the oldest Iranian tribes.

Abstract:

Kurdish is the language of millions of people on earth. Kermanji, Sorani (Southern Kermanji), Orami-Gorani and Southern Kurdish are the main dialects of Kurdish with several sub-dialects and accents. Southern Kurdish is the dialect of Kermanshah and Ilam regions. In Kermanshah, there exist dialects such as Kalhori, Jafi, Orami, and etc. Ilami Kurdish (Fili Kurdish), is the common language of the inhabitants of Ilam province and parts of Iraq such as Mendali and Khaneqin. Kalhori, Khazli, Arkavazi, Malekshahi, etc. form the dialects of the inhabitants of Ilam province. In the present study, with the aim of discovering and identifying some of the grammatical rules of Ilami dialects, Kalhori dialect (Ivan city and parts of Shirvan and Chardavol) and Fili dialect were compared in terms of verb forms. The results showed that there are many similarities in the grammatical rules of these dialects due to kinship, and at the same time, there are some differences in suffixes when the verbs are conjugated in the second and third person singular forms.

Abstract:

Writer Identification recently has been studied and it has a wide variety of applications. Most Studies about Writer identification are based on English documents and to our knowledge no research has been reported on Farsi or Arabic documents. In this paper we have proposed a method for off-line Writer Identification which, text-independent. Based on the idea that has been presented in the previous studies here we assume handwriting as texture image and a set of features which are based on multi-channel Gabor filters are extracted Horn preprocessed image of documents.Substantially, the property of proposed method is using of the bank of gabor filters which is appropriate for structure of farsi handwritten texts and vision system. Our method with two methods which are based on co-occurrence matrix and gabor filters, are implemented and experimental results on handwriting of 25 peoples demonstrate that the proposed method achieves better performance on farsi handwritten documents.

Abstract:

The spirit of a nation is reflected in its folklore, which provides a perfect field for study. Kurdish folklore forms a major part of Iranian popular literature, including stories and poetry. Such folklore is developed within a nation and mirrors the feeling and lifestyle of the people in old era. If such works are not compiled and recorded, they will be soon removed from memories of the people. The present article is an endeavor to show the recognition of such necessity. This article tries to deal with the history of poetry in Kurdish and Persian literature, spoken love songs or poems, the structure of love stories, the style of love songs, the difference between Beits (love songs) and anecdotes, love in love songs, classification of Beits, reciters of Beits and lyric poems, plus a few love Beits.
